You won’t want to miss Creative Arts’ upcoming Vocal Performance and Audition Preparation Workshops presented by Andrea Loretz-Frey on Saturday, Nov. 1st, 11am-1pm, or Monday, Nov. 3rd, 7-9pm. Each workshop will cover audition and performance techniques for singers. Students will learn greater technical vocal development and enhance creative skills. Get some quick, easy and fun tips on how to tailor and refresh your vocal skills and performance creativity.
Andrea Loretz-Frey, Soprano, holds a Master of Music degree in Opera Performance, The Boston Conservatory, and a BA from State University of New York at Binghamton. She has performed over 20 years throughout the East Coast, US and Europe and has taught at all vocal levels for over 15 years in the Boston area and New York, including 8 years at Creative Arts. Andrea is Co-Director and Performance Artist with improvisational performance troupe, Improvelocity (visit: www.improvelocity.com).
Don’t wait until the last minute to prepare repertoire for recitals, auditions or shows. Allow yourself to come alive on stage and get excited about the music and your audience will too! Own your space on stage; learn how to use your body on stage with stage movement and gestures that bring greater freedom and breath to musical and non-musical expression. Workshops will incorporate preparations for performers that will be conducted based on each individual’s skill level. Prior workshop participation not required. Workshop fee is $35 per student.
