• Guided tours of the Native American museum at 1PM and 3PM on Saturday and Sunday
• Native American lifeways and foodways talks and demonstrations outside the NA museum at 1:30PM and 3:30PM on Saturday and Sunday
• Pow-Wow activity for kids at noon on both Saturday and Sunday.
• Guided hiking trip to our Native American hunting ground. Tours to leave at 11AM and 1PM lasting approx. 45 min-1hr (depends on the speed of the hikers!) on Saturday and Sunday.
• Native American crafts and games for kids hosted by Fruitlands educational staff and ongoing throughout the day, including atlatl throw, corn grinding, corn husk doll activity and more. Educational display of Native American cultural information, focusing on the mi'kmaq and Inuit people. Supplied by UNACC, United Native American Cultural Center, Inc.
• Hands on crafting with UNACC members from 2-4PM at Wayside; crafts include making a native American yo-yo.
• Explore the progress of our new Native American Longhouse which is currently under construction, but may be completed by the NACD weekend for more intensive viewing.
