Historic Newton Walks: Norembega Park -- Romance and Recreation on the River!

Norembega Park on the Charles River was the destination for summer fun from the 1890's to the 1960's. A sliver of the park still survives as conservation land, and some remnants of the rides are visible. Using historic photographs, drawings, and memories, this tour allows you to re-live the excitement of a day at Norumbega Park. Great for those who want to learn about this historic park and those who loved it, too.
