On Sunday, September 13, 2009 at 2pm bring the entire family and take a walk in Gummere Woods at the corner of Wheeler Road and Worcester Street. The Grafton Garden Club and the Grafton Land Trust present the second half of The Mushroom Story. George Davis from the Boston Mycological Club will lead us on a walk through the woods as we collect mushrooms.

Wear comfortable walking shoes, DEET, and sunscreen. Bring a shallow, wide basket to hold the mushrooms you’ll collect and a mushroom field guide, if you have one. You do not need to have attending the slideshow to attend this walk. Following the Foray, all the mushrooms will be spread out on a table and identified by Mr. Davis. The walk and identification is free to all participants. Children of all ages are welcome.
