How do you think George and Lily Paine, children living at Stonehurst in the 19th century, might have explored their woods in the darkness of a new moon night? How did they see? What did they hear? What might they have discovered?

Using only the dim light of your own hand-made lantern (and Stonehurst staff) to guide you, discover the night sounds and visit historic sites on the property, as George and Lily did over 100 years ago. This hands-on paper lantern-making activity and trail walk is designed for kids aged 6-12.
