Join us at the Bradley Palmer State Park for a FREE guided hike appropriate for all ages. First Day Hikes are a great way to cure cabin fever, burn off those extra holiday calories, and start off the New Year with a fun and invigorating winter activity in your local, beautiful State Park.

This 1 mile hike will allow you to enjoy the natural beauty of Bradley Palmer’s conservation land contribution and will conclude at the newly restored Willowdale Estate, where its Curators will open their doors for a public tour of Bradley Palmer’s mansion, complete with hot beverages and home-baked goodies. www.willowdaleestate.com

Please dress in layers appropriate for the weather: hats, gloves and warm winter boots.

Park Directions

Bradley Palmer State Park is located in north-eastern Massachusetts.

From North or South: Take Rte. 1 to Topsfield, right on Ipswich Rd., right on Asbury St.

From Newbury Port: Take Route 1 south to Topsfield (approximately 8 miles). Turn left onto Ipswich Road at set of lights. Follow Ipswich Road 1.2 miles then take a right onto Asbury Street. The park entrance is located approximately ¼ mile on the left.
