There’s no better way to spend Valentines Day than to “skate your heart out” in a beautiful country setting. Skate on Wendell State Forest’s specially-built rink. A rink-side warming fire and warming room with complimentary hot chocolate at the nearby headquarters will keep you toasty.

Get your park passport stamped! Learn about DCR’s many other programs, designed for year-round family fun in our parks! FREE and open to all.

Bring skates (and sleds, xc skis) and a snack or picnic lunch if you’d like. Please wear winter clothing in layers. The park is located at 392 Montague Road, on the Wendell/Montague town line, about three miles from Miller Falls Center and Wendell
