Join Alexandra Echandi, Forestry Assistant from the Department of Conservation and Recreation, to learn about invasive species that are on the move in our state. You’ll learn about the headline-making Asian long-horned beetle and a newcomer, the mile-a-minute vine.

This is suitable for families with older children (12+) and will be of particular interest to hunters, fishermen, bird watchers, dog walkers and anyone else who enjoys the natural areas of our region. We will have samples of some of the invasives, including some in and from New Bedford.
