Boxford has lots of wetlands including vernal pools, streams, ponds, and swamps. We'll grab nets and explore these wet places to discover the animals that call them home. As we search the Wildcat Conservation Area for aquatic insects, amphibians, and reptiles, we'll learn about their unique body parts that allow them to live in water.

With luck, and our observation skills, we'll get up-close looks at herons, turtles and frogs. A trip to haven Crown will complete our week as we venture into a wetland filled with natural sounds and towering ferns that will allow our imaginations to soar.
