In the spirit of the ancient Kabbalat Shabbat (welcoming the Shabbat) tradition of going into the fields to welcome Shabbat, come to a summer outdoor Shabbat sing-along and picnic. Sing Shabbat songs, light candles and recite blessings over challah and grape juice on Friday, June 24.

Bring a picnic dinner. Dessert will be provided. Geared for families with children ages 0-5 years. Held at Whittmore-Robbins House lawn (behind the Robbins Library) at 700 Massachusetts Avenue in Arlington from 6-7:30pm.

No charge, but please pre-register by June 22. Open to the entire community.
