This rain or shine indoor/outdoor event is all about the wildlife and habitats of Plum Island from waterfowl to whales and salt marshes to maritime forests. There will be games, art projects, guided nature walks, family presentations, and LOTS of science and information for all ages.
Connecting to nature starts with developing a good sense of place, and a great place to start is in the backyard. Join us to take an outdoor inventory of every living thing from loosestrife to ladybugs!
The Parker River Clean Water Association joins Joppa Flats once again to honor the incredible variety of plants and animals in our area. This full-day family event will feature an exciting mixture of indoor and outdoor activities that encourage participants to learn more about biodiversity.
This program is open to all ages. Children must be accompanied by adults. This is a rain-or-shine event. For a complete listing of Biodiversity Free-For-All events, please contact Lisa Hutchings at 978-462-9998 or go to www.massaudubon.org/joppaflats
