Learn about unique species of marine life, take part in a guided beach exploration, and examine how our actions can impact Boston Harbor and our world's oceans.
Through hands-on exploration, island visitors will learn about the beach and dock areas of Spectacle Island, its resident species, and what to look for.
Each session will incorporate the following objectives and content:
- Taking part in hands-on exploration and discovery
- Highlighting connections between humans and Boston Harbor's marine environment
- Encouraging people to protect the oceans
- Raising awareness of climate change issues
