An excellent evening park adventure for families at Maudslay State Park. In June, the fireflies delight us with their nighttime dance. and spectacular light show. Learn about the life of a firefly and take a firefly walk led by the park interpreter. Bring a net or jar to catch fireflies.Learn how you can help with firefly monitoring.

Comfortable walking shoes and bug spray are recommended.

For Ages 5 and up. An adult must accompany children 12 and under. Meet at the park headquarters on 74 Curzon Mill Road.

All programs are FREE and open to the public.
