Come out to the Nobscot Scout Reservation, the former home of Nipmuc Native Americans and a favorite haunt of Thoreau's.
This reservation has shady trails and tons of history.
We'll visit the site of a 1700s smallpox graveyard and take in the incredible views at 600 ft.
from Tippling Rock.
Most of the walking is easy, but come prepared to take on the hill - the view alone is worth it!
Bring plenty of water, closed-toed shoes, and some snacks to enjoy along the way.
Children under 18 must be accompanied by an adult parent or guardian.
Through an agreement with the SVT and town of Sudbury, the scout reservation is free and open to the public.
Registration is encouraged, but not required.
