Join OutdoorsRx on this family nature walk on the Carol Getchell Trail to get in touch with the environment in your community.

This trail winds along forested banks of the Sudbury River.

Turtles, frogs, herons and various fish can regularly be seen in the area.

This trail was conceived in the mid-90s and was dedicated in 2001 in memory of Carol J.

Getchell, the principal of the Stapleton School and an early proponent of the trail.

Cancels for rain.

Wear close-toed shoes, layers, and bring sun screen, water, and snacks as needed.

Adult must accompany child.

Registration encouraged.
