Getting comfortable reading maps and using a compass are essential skills for navigating your way on the trail.
In this activity, we will practice reading map symbols, using a compass to determine direction, and learn what to do if you get lost.
Then put your skills to the test with a practice scavenger hunt through the park!
This activity is perfect for kids aged 7-12, or anyone who is new to this skill.
Registration is encouraged.
If you have a compass, please bring it! Otherwise, one will be available to borrow.
