An Appalachian Mountain Club event. Open to the public. All ages welcome!

Learn to capture the beauty of nature with pen and paper. Prospect Hill Park, with scenic views and beautiful forests,is sure to inspire creativity.

We will practice sketching using a traditional Japanese 3-step approach along with a few quick writing exercises.

Be prepared to take a short walk on the forest trail.

This activity is great for beginners and children of all ages.

Bring your own journal if you have one.

Otherwise, materials will be available for you to make your own, and colored pencils and crayons will be available to share.

The entrance to the park is located on Totten Pond Road. Drive past the playground and up the hill, following signs for the scenic overlook/Ridge Trail. We'll meet at the parking area for the scenic overlook.
