On Sunday, March 9th, round up the family and head on over to the South Shore Natural Science Center for the Maple Festival (11am to 4pm).

This drop-in event features maple history, culture and production.

Enjoy the process from start to finish as you help tap the trees for sap and then watch how it’s boiled into syrup.

The day includes scheduled woodland walks for tapping, sweet treats, and fun crafts and activities.

$5 Science Center and SSYMCA members/ $8 nonmembers.
