Join us for a great night of fun and memories with you and your family! Participants provide their own food, beverages, tent, sleeping bags, flashlights, marshmallow sticks, and other personal items.
Our bathrooms will remain open throughout the campout.
If you bring your dog, it must be on a leash at all times.
Open to Acton Residents and Non-Residents.
Don’t wait until it’s too late… pre-registration is required to attend this event by Tuesday, June 3, 2014
In the event of a cancellation by Acton Recreation due to rain, the event not be rescheduled and you will receive a full refund.
Registrants will have the opportunity to pitch a tent and camp or bring your pop-up trailer (location will be a special designated area) for a memorable family campout at NARA Park.
Not only is NARA beautiful during the day, the nighttime view of the stars is spectacular.
We’ll provide the campfire and marshmallows.
In the morning, we will offer coffee, tea, juice, and donuts.
Timeline of activities planned by our volunteers!
Saturday:
4:00 pm-6:00 pm: Check-in time at the bathhouse
5:30-7:30 pm: Grill will be available at bathhouse
5:30 pm-10 :00 pm: Campfire
7:30 pm: Flashlight tag or hide n’ seek (Bring your own flashlight)
8:30 pm: Campfire stories!
Sunday:
7:00 am: Breakfast at the pavilion—BYOC—bring your own cereal
7:30 am: Nature Walk
8:00-9:00 Tent breakdown
