Come check out some of Waltham's most important habitats - vernal pools!

These small ponds are home to some special animals: salamanders, frogs, toads, and more!

We will walk a short trail to the pond where we will learn about what makes these habitats so important for wildlife.

Be sure to keep your eyes and ears open for little critters!

Please wear sturdy footwear, and be prepared for mud.

*Programs cancel for rain.
