Wish your kids did?
This hands-on, experiential outdoor family program will help your whole family start a healthy habit and leave your kids begging for more.
While you're experiencing wildlife and cool natural sites, you'll also learn how the outdoors helps kids be healthy and succeed in school while discovering parks in your 'backyard!'
Salamanders, Frogs and Ponds will run on Saturdays afternoons in March and April in Waltham-area green spaces.
Each week, the whole family can participate in salamander hunts, family hikes, stream life exploration, frog calling and catching and 'ponding' at vernal pools.
Check OutdoorsRx.org for more details.
Create a family profile and we'll send you weekly emails with upcoming programs.
Children should be old enough to to walk alongside an adult, at an adult pace.
Young children are welcome in carriers.
Program cancels for heavy rain.
