We'll follow the WGW trail into Beaver Brook, and walk up Mackerel Hill, one of the highest points in the area.The top of the hill is a large meadow with views.About 1.5 - 2 miles round trip.
For families with children ages 6 - 12.
Depending on trail conditions, we will either snowshoe or use Yaktrax traction on our feet.
If you have your own snowshoes or traction footwear, please bring them.
Snowshoes and yaktrax will also be available for kids and their adults to borrow.
This is a joint program of AMC's Outdoors Rx program and the Boston Chapter's Family Outings Committee.
