Each day includes hands-on exploration, active movement, outdoor play, crafts, stories, and songs.
A small student to teacher ratio creates a personal, close-knit experience.
A snack will be provided each day, as well as a take-home craft and handout with additional activities and information to extend environmental education and nature discovery into your home.
Program offered in various locations during school vacation weeks and holidays.
Things to Know
Programs are for 3-6 year olds and 6-8 year olds (depending on program)
Program runs from 9am-1pm
Early Drop-Off at 8:30am and Extended Day 1:00pm-3:00pm is available at PUDDLESTOMPERS Nature Center and Nahanton Park Nature Center Please bring a NUT-FREE lunch.
Mid-moring snack will be provided.
Children MUST be potty-trained Minimum 4 children and Maximum 15 or 20 children (depending on the town)
Registration is on a daily basis Programs are held rain or shine!

PUDDLESTOMPERS Nature Center - 1 Bridge Street Suite 105, Newton MA
The PUDDLESTOMPERS Nature Center is located along the Newton-Watertown-Waltham line. Positioned along the Charles River, this location is just steps away from the Charles River Greenway path. Various inlets let us access the wildlife along the river bank, while wooded areas give us the space to dig and explore! Vacation Programs offered at this location include: Columbus Day, Veterans Day and MLK Day.
Nahanton Park Nature Center - 455 Nahanton St, Newton MA
Situated along the Newton-Needham line, our Nahanton Park site offers endless opportunities for nature exploration and play. Within the 55 acres of natural landscape, we explore various habitats – meadows, woodlands and wetlands. The beautiful Nahanton Park Nature Center also acts as an excellent resource for teaching and provides great indoor space in the case of inclement weather. Vacation Programs offered at this location include: December Vacation, February Vacation and April Vacation.
Wellesley Recreation Center - 90 Washington St, Wellesley MA
Located on Washington Street, the Warren Recreation Center in Wellesley backs up to the beautiful Crosstown Trail. The trail is ideal for bird watching and the large play fields are perfect for active movement and enjoying lunch. The Recreation Center also provides a wonderful indoor space. Vacation Programs offered at this location include: December Vacation, February Vacation and April Vacation.
