Habitat Classes are fun and educational for kids and parents! In each class, we'll investigate a different habitat and the animals that live in it.

Activities include hands-on exploration, games, songs, craft, snack, and a story.

Participants receive a magnet with ideas for exploring nature in your own backyard and informational handout to extend learning into the home!

Sign up for as many classes as you wish!

Things to Know

Classes are for 2-5 year olds with adult Minimum 4 children/Maximum 12 children per class Classes will be held rain or shine!
Classes are held at the PUDDLESTOMPERS Nature Center in Newton

The PUDDLESTOMPERS Nature Center is located along the Newton-Watertown-Waltham line. Positioned along the Charles River, this location is just steps away from the Charles River Greenway path. Various inlets let us access the wildlife along the river bank, while wooded areas give us the space to dig and explore!
