Have you ever seen or heard an owl in the woods?
We think owls are one of the coolest animals to encounter at dusk!
Join Farrington Nature Linc for the first event in our Spring Series.
We will begin our 'Owl Prowl' with an owl craft and a short discussion about owls.
Then, we will head outside for a guided walk around Farrington's property where will we do some 'owling' (learning about owl calls and keeping our eyes out for owls).
When the sun sets, we will head inside.
What goes well with a chilly March evening?
You guessed it.
A warm drink and a good book.
We will have hot cocoa for you to enjoy while we read aloud the children's book Owl Moon.
Bring snow boots (in case we have snow) and extra layers for the walk.
All ages are welcome and encouraged to attend.
