Do snakes have a backbone?
Can snakes blink their eyes?
Come learn some really cool facts (and myths) about our scaly reptile friends that live here in the Blue Hills.
This program begins in the museum's auditorium with a hands-on investigation of snake artifacts, an up-close visit with one of our resident snakes, a story and a snake craft.
We then go on a short guided walk to visit the snake exhibits within the museum, followed by guided hike to a forest and field habitat to look for some local snake species.
Please wear sturdy shoes and weather appropriate clothing.
Be prepared for a short walk outside.
