Can dragonflies fly backwards?
Come learn about these fascinating and efficient predators!
This program begins in the museum's auditorium with an investigation of native dragonfly and damselfly specimens, a story and a dragonfly craft.
We then go on a short guided hike around Trailside's pond to look for dragonflies and damselflies followed by a hands-on investigation of dragonfly and damselfly larva that live in the pond.
Please wear sturdy shoes and weather appropriate clothing.
Be prepared for a short walk outside.
