Calling all future gardeners and their families! Meet garden experts and learn how to create a wonderful family garden with native plants. Learn how to plant a tree or shrub like a pro; listen to famed Paul Tukey on organic lawn care; find out all about native bulbs, and the best plants for fall.

Walk the ART GOES WILD trail, explore the native plant labyrinth, see turtles, frogs, and dragonflies at the floating gardens, and enjoy a picnic on the patio. Delicious sandwiches available for purchase at the visitor center. Select from 550 native species ready for fall planting. Learn how to protect the environment with healthy plant choices. Rain or Shine.

  • Bring or purchase a picnic to enjoy on the patio. Part of it is covered, in case of rain. This is a great place to bring kids in a backpack. Fabulous butterflies!
