This special family event is led by Trustees Ranger Will, who will show us how to identify maple trees on the farm and share the history of tapping as we learn about how maple sap runs.
Each family group will set their own tap to get the farm’s maple flowing!
You’ll go home with instructions on how to tap your own maple trees and make your own syrup.
When you register, you will choose between two 1.5 hour-long sessions.
Note: while this event is scheduled for 2/25, we may need to postpone it to a later date if tapping conditions aren’t ideal, due to the unpredictable nature of weather.
Please note, while we love dogs, they are not permitted at Chestnut Hill Farm.
