The heated vessel will travel around the Inner Harbor and out past the Boston Harbor Islands.
Speakers will discuss the history of the harbor and how much the harbor and waterfront continue to evolve.
The discussion will focus on Boston's eight waterfront Harborwalk neighborhoods.
Once south of Dorchester, we'll also talk about the history of the inner harbor islands.
Our tour will depart from and return to Long Wharf on Boston Harbor Cruises' luxury vessel - the Regency.
We will begin boarding at 9:30 AM and will depart at 10:00 AM (sharp), returning at approximately 12:15 PM.
The vessel will depart from Long Wharf North.
Specific dock location and boarding information will be sent out days prior to the tour.
The Regency has bathrooms and heated below decks.
Beverages and snacks are available for purchase.
Dress extra warmly if you would like to be outside on deck; it is very cold and windy on the harbor in the winter!
The $20 fee supports the work of the Friends and allows for a gratuity to the crew.
The nearest MBTA stop is the Blue Line Aquarium Station.
