Event Date(s): Sunday, 6/27/2021, 10:30 AM - 12:00 PM, 1 hour, 30 minutes Instructor: Marissa Gallant Join us to learn the basics of keeping and creating a nature journal.
Hand-bind your own journal made using recycled and upcycled materials and practice collecting data in the gardens and along the trails.
Learn some illustration basics, practice taking notes, recording measurements, writing poetry, and using your senses to explore the world around you.
Each child will take home a completed nature journal along with a pencil box of supplies to continue their studies at home.
$25 Member Youth, $0 Member Adult; $30 Youth, $16 Adult (Registration includes admission to the Garden)
Additional Program Information PLEASE NOTE THIS CLASS IS FOR CHILDREN WITH OR WITHOUT THEIR ADULT COMPANIONS.
We are able to accommodate a maximum of one adult per child registrant at this time.
Adult companions MUST register along with their child(ren) as this class registration serves as your admission to the Garden.
Adults are required to stay on the property while class is in session, this is not a true drop-off program.
Please note, there is currently construction happening at Tower Hill which may result in altered or obstructed walkways, parking lots, and parking spaces, in addition to some noise.
