Middle schoolers will get to know the farmland, animals, and surrounding trails.
A typical day will include hiking and nature exploration, rapport-building games, and creative time for art and journaling.
Each day we will focus in on a different topic such as “Sustainable Farming,” “Livestock Management,” or “Local Wild Animals.”
Other activities may include:
Learning about plant and animal adaptations Special time for climbing trees, reading, or chilling out Farm chores including animal care, planting, harvesting, and more Discovering wild animal habitats This program is designed for middle schoolers and provides a deeper dive into life on the farm through experiential education to satisfy curious minds.
Participants are encouraged to attend as many sessions as they would like, as each one will bring new experiences!
This program is intended for children going into grades 6th through 8th.
Space is limited and pre-registration is required.
Closed-toe shoes are recommended.
