Join Kenneth Warchol, a veteran beekeeper for a presentation oh Honeybees that takes you right inside a beehive to better understand the mysterious social insect and the role that it plays in our ecosystem.

Learn about the challenges honeybees face and find out how we can help this insect that is essential to our own survival.

Ken brings samples of a variety of honey for everyone to taste.

Ken Warchol became involved with the Massachusetts Federation of Beekeepers in the 1970s.

Because of his unique talent with bees he is considered by many as the bee whisperer.

He is a 6th generation caretaker of bees; his family’s practice originated in Poland in the 1840s.

In 1999, Ken was chair of the 100th Anniversary Celebration of the Worcester County Bee Association, the oldest county beekeeping association in the country.

Please note that capacity for this event will be limited and masks are recommended.

Doors will open 15 minutes before the start of the program.
