Join Ranger Tim and find the signs of spring around you using all five senses.
Keep your eyes open for animal tracks and other signs of wildlife on the farm and in the woods!
This guided hike will be led by Tim Puopolo, a Trustees ranger and naturalist, and recipient of the Massachusetts Department of Conservation and Recreation’s “Outstanding Park Interpreter” award.
The hike will be about 30 minutes long and will follow some of Chestnut Hill Farm’s most beautiful trails.
The campfire will be going and there will be s’mores to enjoy! Bring the family and friends — this popular program is well-loved for good reason!
Be sure to wear boots or shoes that are appropriate for hiking in potentially wet and muddy spots and bring a flashlight for dark areas.
Space is limited for this event and pre-registration is required.
These hikes often sell out far in advance, so register early!
Please note that while we love dogs, they are not permitted at Chestnut Hill Farm.

Cancellation Policy: In the event The Trustees cancels a program due to severe weather, low enrollment, or other circumstances, we will notify registrants by email and issue a full refund or transfer to another scheduled program within two weeks of the cancellation. To cancel a reservation, please contact Chestnut Hill Farm 7 days prior to the start of the program to receive a full refund. Refunds will not be granted for cancellations placed fewer than 7 days before the start of the program.
