New England Wild Flower Society offers Free Admission to Garden in the Woods Saturday, April 26 to Celebrate Earth Day from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Guided tours take place every 1/2 hour. Meet costumed characters. Learn about GREEN gardening at the GREEN WAY tent area. Enjoy the Signs of Spring Scavenger Hunt. Plant a sunflower to take home. Have your face painted. Come early to enjoy seating at one of the Live Animal Shows at 11 a.m., 1 p.m., and 3 p.m.
New England Wild Flower Society's Garden in the Woods opens April 15 at 9:00. Get first choice of 550 nursery plant species for sale, many rare, including wildflowers, woody plants and ferns. Members receive discounts and all purchases support plant conservation. Join us for a 10 am tour-free with admission. Visit our website to review upcoming classes for adults and children.
