It may seem a bit quiet at the sanctuary this time of year, but it is actually quite busy as many mammals prepare for winter. We will walk the trails in search of mammals that are still around and will make their winter homes at the sanctuary. We will look for squirrels, chipmunks, mice, and others, and learn how they prepare to survive the harsh New England weather during the winter.

This family program is for ages 5-16 yrs with adult. At the Ipswich River Wildlife Sanctuary. Meets in the Nature Center. Please dress for the weather.
