Explore how music and art go hand-in-hand! New Phil music and art educators take the audience through excerpts of Beethoven’s Symphony No. 6, “Pastorale” and Britten’s “Four Sea Interludes” from “Peter Grimes”. Walk through the countryside, feel the sun on your face, smell the salty sea air, and experience the thrill of a storm!

The music provides the sounds of nature while local students’ interpretive drawings, projected on stage, provide the visuals. This interactive and entertaining performance is great fun for all and will include a special art project for the audience. The concert will be followed by the New Phil's popular Instrument Petting Zoo - your child's chance to meet and greet the instruments of the orchestra!
