Newton is home to some of the finest examples of nineteenth and early twentieth-century domestic architecture in America. This popular annual event celebrates the city's distinctive and diverse architectural heritage.
This year's tour showcases private homes built or renovated between 1830 and 2004, located in five of the city's historic neighborhoods:
Auburndale
Newton Corner
Newton Upper Falls
Newtonville
West Newton
as well as a historic house from 1732 and a Gothic Revival church from 1907
