Folks will be treated to performances by dancers, musicians, spectacle artists, actors and celebrity chefs on the Boston Common and City Hall Plaza.
In 2015, Outside The Box will bring more than 70 music, theater and dance performances to the Boston Common, all for free. The six-day arts and culture event is the vision of Boston-based philanthropist and arts enthusiast Ted Cutler, who believes in the power of arts to educate and inspire creative thinking.
This year’s programming will continue to reflect Cutler’s drive to instill a love of the arts in the audiences of tomorrow through a robust children’s section which will include performances geared towards younger audiences, workshops and educational hands-on activities for youth of all ages. view the full lineup here.
During its inaugural presentation in 2013, Outside The Box featured artists from across the world, showcasing the best of theater, dance, music, spectacle arts, magic, and culinary arts demonstrations. The nine-day festival drew more than 650,000 visits, resulting in an enormous impact to the local economy, according to the Greater Boston Convention and Visitors Bureau.
The full performance schedule will be announced over the next months. For more information, visit www.OTBBoston.com or follow Outside the Box on Facebook or @otbBoston on Twitter.
