Have you been dying to learn how to play guitar so you can sing and play with your kids? Do you wish you could drop off your kids at school then head over to a fun class of your own? In this class you will learn guitar technique and some basic theory by learning children's songs.

You'll get to build a 'guitar playing tool box' of chords and strumming patterns so you can, in a supportive atmosphere, work through the initial hurdles of guitar playing: putting your fingers on the strings, reading chord charts, switching chords, and singing and playing simultaneously. In the course of the semester, you'll get to learn songs that I've been singing with kids for years and know they love. Refreshments will be served. Bring a guitar and a flat pick.
