Dr. Robert Brooks will speak to parents, grandparents, healthcare professionals and anyone interested in children about 'Rasing Resilient Children and Adolescents.'

Dr. Brooks stories are largely based upon his own experiences as a clinical psychologist, father, husband and son. These personal stories -- funny, touching and unforgettable -- give his presentation a wonderfully unique dimension that has captivated audiences across the United States and around the world.

About Dr. Robert Brooks
The recipient of numerous professional, commun ity, and govenment awards, Dr. Brooks is on the faculty of Harvard Medical School and has served as Director of the Department of Psychology at McLean Hospital, He has made more than 200 appearances on television shows in the Boston area and on national cable television discussiong a variety of psychological topics. He completed a videotape for PBS on the topic of resilience and self-esteem. He is freqently cited in the newspaper and magazine articles, including The New York Times, The Boston Globe, Newsweek, Time, and Parents. He is the author or co-author of thirteen books and numerous articles and book chapters.

FROM BOSTON
Take Beacon Street to Cleveland Circle. Follow Beacon Street past the reservoir to the second set of traffic lights (Hammond Pond Parkway). Take a left and go about a half mile. Mishkan Tefila is on the right just after a blue sign, just before the traffic lights.
FROM MASS TURNPIKE
Take exit #14 from Mass Turnpike to Route 128 South, take exit 20A (Route 9 East) toward Boston. Follow Route 9 through 3 sets of lights, after third set of lights, take right onto Florence Street at Winstons Flowers and before Atrium Mall. On Florence Street go to the set of lights and turn left onto Hammond Pond Parkway. Go through 2 sets of lights and synagogue is on left, immediately after the second set of lights.
