A school is 'good' only when it matches your child. Many children are mismatched, which causes problems -- today, and on into their future. You, the parent, are in the best position to find better matches from among the expanding alternatives.
Would your child thrive were s/he better matched to a different type of school? Explore your options with industry experts from charter, independent, alternative, home, and hybrid schools, and maybe improve your child's future.

Pioneer Institute will overview current options available to Massachusetts parents.
Massachusetts Charter Public School Association will overview the current selection of charter schools, what it takes to get in, and how charter schools are evolving.
The Association of Independent Schools in New England will overview private and parochial schools, which can offer greater diversity than charter schools. How might payment work, and what next steps should you take to explore private and parochial schools
The Alternative Education Resource Organization will overview alternative schools that may offer much greater diversity than even private schools.
Finally, the Massachusetts Home Learners Association will overview homeschooling options, including its surprising range (everything from the intense rigor of 'classical', to relaxed 'unschooling', from at the kitchen table drill-and-kill to out-in-the-world project-based unit study).
We'll introducte the emerging hybrid schools which hint at a mini-revolution -- on-line schools, co-opt schools.
And this will all be under the umbrella that it is the parents' responsibility to make sure that we are looking after our child's educational interests.
This is the only conference of its kind that overviews the major categories of schooling available to Massachusetts parents.
