Getting your child(ren) to fall asleep - and stay asleep - can be one of the biggest challenges parents face. Join us to learn why we sleep when we do, why sleep is so important, and how certain factors can make it easier or more difficult to fall asleep.

You’ll also learn how much sleep children of various ages really need, and how to help yours – from kindergartners to middle schoolers - get a good night’s sleep.

Dennis Rosen, M.D. is a sleep specialist at Children’s Hospital Boston, where he is a member of the Division of Respiratory Diseases and Associate Medical Director of the Sleep Disorders Program.

In addition to his scientific research, he writes for the New York Times, the Boston Globe, the Boston Herald, the Journal of the American Medical Assn, as well as on his blog 'sleeping angels' dedicated primarily to children and sleep.
