Israel can be a complicated, emotionally charged topic for interfaith families. In this time of conflict and warfare, you are invited to attend a program to help increase understanding of the feelings behind the issues. Rabbi Carl Perkins of Temple Aliyah in Needham, MA was in Israel during the recent conflict.

He will provide an overview of the historical significance of the Land of Israel to Jews, Christians and Moslems, and a brief introduction to Modern Zionism. He will address the different meanings of Israel to members of interfaith couples and help participants share ways to bridge communication gaps when they occur. There will be ample time for questions and answers.

Middle Eastern refreshments will be served
