Calm Mother, Happy Child is a program that offers solutions for managing the stresses of parenthood. The program’s goal is to help you begin to feel better, more balanced and better able to cope effectively with the ups and downs of being a Mom in this fast-paced world.
The Benson-Henry Institute for Mind Body Medicine at Massachusetts General Hospital has created a lifeline for overwhelmed mothers in this 8-week program. Calm Mother, Happy Child will be offered on Wednesday mornings 10 am –12 pm (beginning 5/2) and Thursday evenings from 6:30-8:30 pm(beginning 4/26) at the Institute offices at 824 Boylston St. in Chestnut Hill. The fee is $295 ($250 if you register with a friend) for the eight sessions and includes a manual, relaxation cd, and other materials.
