Tufts Traveling Treasure Trunk is coming to the Medford Public Library, 111 High St. in Medford, on Wednesday, April 8 at 9:30 am. Trunk is a group of Tufts University undergraduate students who perform for children at local schools, libraries, shelters and hospitals.

The forty-five minute show includes skits, songs and plays written or adapted, directed and costumed by troupe members. They will perform two plays. The first, called “Untitled Squirrel Project” is about Sammy the Squirrel who helps gather nuts on Boston Common and meets lots of new silly friends along the way, and the second play, “Del Campo al Desierto” is the story of Paola, the piggie who wants to join her cousin’s Desert Decathlon , but needs to gain some confidence and some Spanish skills!
