Grammy-Nominated storyteller Sharon Kennedy will tell “Sun, Moon and Star Myths” for the MA Starship Adventure Summer Reading theme at the Medford Public Library. Join her as she tells a Nigerian folktale called “Why the Sun and the Moon Live up in the Sky”. She will also perform “Moon Rope” which is a folktale from Peru.

Children in the audience will enjoy lots of participation, such as singing and chanting! In between tales, Sharon will lead the children in chants from Irish and African American traditions! This program is sponsored by the Friends of the Medford Public Library.
