Lexington Symphony offers its Kids’ Workshop and Concert on February 7th with George Li as special guest pianist in a kid-friendly version of the prior night’s subscription concert. This concert brings music to kids in an up-close, hands-on way. Kids can try out the instruments of the orchestra, learn how they are made, and conduct their own group of players!

Jonathan McPhee, music director, won a Gabriel Award for his work on WCRB's Kids Classical Hour, and has received high praise for his work with kids in the Lexington Symphony's third-grade program 'Orchestrating Kids Through Classics.”

The Lexington Symphony is a group of dedicated musicians who share a passion for their music and for exacting standards of performance. With an emphasis on accessibility within the community, the symphony offers programming to reach all ages and an exciting concert experience in beautiful Cary Hall right in Lexington's historic downtown. Music Director Jonathan McPhee is one of New England's leading musical figures and has conducted orchestras throughout the world.
