On June 13, 2010 at 4 PM, Youth pro Musica celebrates its 40th season with 'How Can I keep From Singing,' with spring concert highlights such as Schubert's 'An die Musik,' Giovanni Clari's 'Che Bella Cosa,' Alice Parker's 'Singing Questions,' and Lowell Mason's canon 'O Music,' among others. Also on the program are 'Messe Basse' by Gabriel Fauré, as well as works by Ralph Vaughan Williams and Felix Mendelssohn.

Featured soloists are drawn from within the ensemble, including a senior exchange student from the Czech Republic. Robert Barney, who joined YpM as Artistic Director in September 2009, conducts the concert. Yvonne Gobis is YpM's accompanist.

YpM's concert takes place at at the First Unitarian Society, 1326 Washington Street in West Newton. Youth pro Musica consists of two ensembles: the Repertory Chorus and the High School Chorus and includes singers ranging in age from 9-17. Choristers come from many towns in the greater Boston area
