Italian filmmaker Guido Contini has just turned forty years old, his marriage is failing, and he cannot come up with an idea for a new film to rejuvenate his floundering career. By exploring his life through the lens of the women that comprise it: his wife, mistress, leading lady, producer, mother, and others, Contini is finally able to step into his future.

Emerson Stage Programming
Emerson Stage is the producing organization of the Department of Performing Arts at Emerson College—training students both onstage and off to be our next generation of theater artists and audiences. The organization produces eight shows per year.
